Trevor DeVries
Dr. DeVries, in the Department of Animal and Poultry Science, located at the Kemptville Campus of the Ontario Agricultural College, is interested in understanding the links between dairy cow behaviour, nutrition and welfare.

Ian Duncan
In the Department of Animal and Poultry Science, Dr. Duncan is particularly interested in fundamental questions concerning the nature if sentience and its relationship to welfare.  He is also committed to finding solutions to farm animal welfare problems through more applied research.

Georgia Mason
Dr. Mason, in the Department of Animal and Poultry Science studies how the housing of lab, farm and zoo animals affects their welfare, their behaviour and their brain functioning. Her group is also interested in developing and refining better techniques for objectively assessing animal welfare.

Stephanie Torrey
Dr. Torrey and her lab are interested in the links between farm animal behaviour, nutrition, production and welfare. Our fundamental research focuses on the development of feeding and drinking behaviour, and oral stereotypies. Our applied research involves transportation, handling and management of farm animals.

Tina Widowski
Dr. Widowski, in the Department of Animal and Poultry Science is interested in how various housing and management practices affect the behavioural biology and welfare of farm animals. Her group's fundamental research explores underlying developmental and physiological mechanisms of behaviour, while our more applied projects address practical approaches to solving behaviour problems and improving welfare on farms.
