Why come to Guelph?

The City of Guelph is a vibrant town with a rich history, and is a short trip away from other historic communities, such as Fergus and Elora. The area surrounding the city offers many opportunities for outdoor activities, such as climbing, biking, kayaking/canoeing and much more. There is even a man-made lake, so visiting the beach is just minutes away! The downtown core has an active nightlife, with many bars and clubs to suit your tastes. Restaurants, boutiques, movie theatres, and a hockey rink are all downtown as well. Guelph is a very short hop to Kitchener and Waterloo, also university towns.

Guelph is located about an hour's drive away from Toronto, which has lots of nightlife, shopping, and tourist attractions. Another tourist location is Niagara Falls, home to wineries, golfing, museums, and of course, the falls themselves!
