Welcome to the Applied Animal Behaviour and Welfare laboratory at the Ontario Veterinary College

Our group is interested in fundamental questions about how injury and illness affect behavioural needs and social dynamics of domesticated animals, and applied questions about how we can assess and improve the welfare of livestock and horses in the “real world” situations.
