Scholarships and Awards
The University of Guelph offers a number of entrance and travel awards, access awards and bursaries. The College of Biological Sciences also offers a number of awards that students can apply for, and awards that are given out to students conducting research in their department.
As a result of the economic downturn and the negative impact this is having on University Endowments, the University of Guelph will be suspending most of its endowed scholarships, bursaries, and travel grants for the time being. Read more

Students are encouraged to apply to various external granting bodies including, Natural Science and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), and the Ontario Graduate Scholarship Scholarships (OGS). Other areas to search include: StudentAwards.com, CollegeNet Scholarship Search and SCHOLARSHIPSCANADA.
