The regional alumni ambassador program offers University of Guelph graduates an opportunity to stay connected and give back to their alma mater. We have a team of alumni from around the world who help share their passion and school pride. Whether you are still living in Guelph or are located halfway around the world, there are many opportunities for you as a regional alumni ambassador.
Lend a Hand
Many of our alumni have raised their hand saying they are willing to help but weren’t sure how. Here’s how you can lend a hand…
Gryphon Pride: Stay informed and share any good news or stories of advancements at the University of Guelph. By telling your friends and family you are helping to increase the reputation of the University.
Alumni Programs: Assist in a variety of ways such as helping out with alumni events in your area, connecting with students, or encouraging classmates to attend reunions.
Community Connections: Be a U of G contact in your community. Wherever you are in the world, you can connect with travelling faculty, students, alumni and those who have just moved to the area. Connect your networks with your alma mater.
Student Outreach: Help attract talented, bright young minds to the University of Guelph. As a graduate, we will provide you with the tools to help ‘sell’ U of G and welcome incoming students in your area to U of G.
Alumni Giving: Alumni can make a difference to their alma mater through donations. All gifts have an impact, no matter the size. Ongoing support from alumni continues to fund scholarships, research, athletics, student learning, and helps keep U of G a centre of excellence.
