Wheels in Motion

President Alastair Summerlee spent a day in a wheelchair June 5 to help raise awareness of the Wheels in Motion event slated for June 11 at U of G and the challenges faced by people living with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities. The Sunday event had people walking, biking, wheeling or running a 2.5-kilometre course on campus to raise money for spinal cord research. Nearly 200 people, including Summerlee, participated in or volunteered at this year's event, raising a record $27,678.
