This image of CBC Newsworld anchor Carla Robinson is one of a number of portraits of First Nations professionals taken by U of G fine art professor Arthur Renwick for a series of large-scale photos called “Mask.” “I asked them to think about the history of the relationship between the camera lens and the Indian and to make a facial gesture in response,” he says.
