Should It Be Called Sleeping Week Instead?

Surely I was not the only library patron who was disappointed that the already limited weekend service hours for the U of G Library were further reduced during Reading Week.

If reading is considered to be an important activity that the University wishes to encourage, then expansion of the service hours would be a more appropriate objective. Instead, the library opened at noon Feb. 14 and 15 and closed early in the evening all week.

Perhaps the University should consider changing the name of its semester break to Sleeping Week.
