Who can use the CAMC?
- Students doing coursework related to a College of Arts
course or any member of the University community wishing to use CAMC
materials, eg. for independent language study.
What is available in the CAMC?
- Instructional software for courses offered by the College
of Arts
- Language learning materials (audio, video, computer
software)
- Computers for Internet applications, CD-ROMs,
course-related software
- DVD/VHS viewing equipment
- Projection equipment for use in class presentations
Where can I do scanning?
How can I type accented letters?
- If using your own computer, map your keyboard according to
set-up instructions. Install the US-International keyboard
(Settings/Control Panel/Regional and Language Options).
- If using various computers on campus, try using the
3-digit ASCII code while holding down the ALT key. Obtain instructions
and a chart from the CAMC.
Can I print from the computers in the CAMC?
- Yes. The computers are connected to the CCS distributed
printing network, so you will need a print/copy card. The closest
printer is in MACK 030A.
I forgot my password. How can I find out what it is?
- Consult the CCS IT Help Desk
at the MacLaughlin Library computer pool on the first floor to have
your password reset.
