About AuthorSteve Blank is a Silicon Valley godfather, guru and serial entrepreneur. Steve is recognized for developing the Customer Development methodology, which launched the Lean Startup movement. In his 30 years working in the technology field, he has founded or worked within eight startups, four of which have gone public.

The Harvard Business Review recently declared him “one of the 12 Masters of Innovation”, along with Thomas Edison and Clayton Christensen.

Steve has also published three books: The Four Steps to the Epiphany, Not All Those Who Wander Are Lost and The Startup Owner’s Manual and currently lectures at the Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley, Columbia University and the California Institute of Technology (Caltech).
