Bachelor of Science - Biological Sciences
The Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) is offered as a four-year Honours degree or a three-year General degree. You have the option of choosing an area of specialization - a major - in the Honours degree program. There are 13 different majors that the College of Biological Science (CBS) offers and a total of 29 different majors in the B.Sc. degree to choose from. The advantage of the University of Guelph program is the flexibility in switching majors after your first year. All majors take essentially the same (if not identical) courses in their first year. We also offer multiple co-op options and well as the flexibility to add a minor in a science, arts or social science discipline.
