Enterprise Application Hardware Refresh Projects

The University of Guelph has a long history running mission critical applications on Enterprise class HP PA-Risc based servers systems. The goals of this project are to:

1. Replace all Enterprise Applications PA-Risc HPUX servers running HPUX 11.11 with the latest Itanium based HP Blade environment running HPUX 11.31

2. Provide up to date, faster servers to run the campus Enterprise Applications, such as the Colleague Student system, Oracle Financials application, and Human Resources Payroll and Employee Records Applications.

  Enterprise Application Migration Projects

  1. Student Information System (Web Advisor) Migration (completed June 11, 2011)
  2. HR and Payroll Migration (completed November 21, 2011)
  3. Financial and Misc Migration (completed November 16, 2011)
  4. Financial Oracle e-Business Suite Migration (phase 1 completed Dec 19, 2011)

 Servers Installation and Testing Projects

  1. Hardware Installation and Testing - project was completed on November 12, 2010
  2. Managed Servers Setup for HR and FIS projects - project was completed on Feburary 14, 2011
