Apple Mail Settings for Gryph Mail
Apple Mail is not fully supported, but the following settings should work in most instances:

Server port ............... 993
Security .................. SSL

Outgoing Server (SMTP)
Server name ............... smtp.mail.uoguelph.ca
Advanced
Use custom port ......... 587

User name ............... [central login ID]
Password ................ [central login password]How to Configure Mac Mail:
Open Mac Mail (Look for the postage stamp icon on your dock.) and under the Mail menu option select Preferences. Create a new account by selecting the Accounts tab, and then click the plus sign to add a new account.
On the Add Account panel, enter your full name, University of Guelph email address and your account password.
On the Incoming Mail Server panel, set Account Type as IMAP, and your Incoming Mail Server as mail.uoguelph.ca. The username and password will be your central login ID, and should auto-fill.
On the Outgoing Mail Server panel, set the Outgoing Mail Server to: smtp.mail.uoguelph.ca
Check ‘Use Authentication’, your central login ID and password are auto-filled. Click Continue.
You will be shown an account summary. Check that the information is accurate, then check the ‘Take Account Online’ tickbox and click ‘Create’.
