Thawte 2048 bit Root Certificate

On June 27, 2010, Thawte, our SSL certificate provider, upgraded its public root certification authorities (CAs) to the 2048-bit Thawte Primary Root CA. From this date, SSL and Code Signing certificates will be issued from intermediate CAs under the Thawte Primary Root CA, creating a stronger, chained CA hierarchy. Your existing, active certificates issued from our current 1024-bit RSA Roots will not be affected by this CA upgrade. They will continue to operate correctly and securely with no action on your part.
