Associates - Alumni

Graduates from the University of Guelph can sign up for an associate account which will allow them continued access of their central login account, website publishing and dial-up connectivity through U of G's modem pool.

Associates - Retiree

There is a new service for retiring U of G staff and faculty where they can now keep their central login account at no charge after they retire. This service will also include access to website publishing but it will not include access to U of G's modem pool. If you require access to the modem pool sign up for an associate account.

Sponsored Users

If you are not a faculty or staff member but you have a significant affiliation with the university you may be entitled to a sponsored account. This account will give you access to a central login account and to U of G's computing services.

To help you with your computing needs, CCS offers various services for all U of G members:

• password insurance which resets your password right away incase you ever forget it
• tips on how to manage and maintain your quota space
• spam filtering to greatly help reduce the spam you receive

To protect new users, all U of G accounts are "locked" when they are created. This means new accounts will only receive email from authorized campus departments (e.g. the Registrar). To receive email from off campus senders, you will have to unlock your mail.
