First Visit for Graduate Students

Welcome to CCS, your link to computing information and support.

Your central login account will be created automatically for you when you register and, in most cases, the account information will be sent to your department office. This account will give you access to services such as Gryph Mail, website publishing, downloading software and Course Link.

Gryph Mail is the new campus-wide, fully integrated email and calendaring system. Watch a video tutorial on the new email and calendaring system. Share tips and learn best practices in the Gryph Mail and Calendaring list.

AT NO TIME will the University ask you to reveal your userid and password by email!

Please Note: Your U of G email account, Gryph Mail is the official method used by the university to communicate important information to students. Regularly checking your U of G email account is part of Student Rights and Responsibilities.

To help you with your computing needs, CCS offers various services such as:

• password insurance which resets your password right away incase you ever forget it
• instructional & research support for grad students who need information about the Data Resource Centre, data analysis support, GIS support, test scoring, course evaluation, or online or paper survey creation and scanning.
