Gryph Mail Extensions

The Resource Manager zimlet allows managing (adding, modifying and deleting) Gryph Mail resources directly from the mailbox; the user is required to have an organizational account in other to able to access this functionality.

 Note: It is possible to manage only the resources associated with the organizational account.

 

Resource List

  1. To open the extension just click on the Resource Manager item in the left panel.

  3. The zimlet will display all the resources that are associated with the organizational acccount (if any).

Adding a Resource

  1. Click on the Add button.
  2. Enter all the information on the resource (Name, email and password are required fields).
  3. Click on Save.
  4. The resource will be created and its Inbox, Sent and Calendar folders will be automatically shared with the current user.

Editing a Resource

  1. Click on the resource you want to modify and then click on Edit, alternatively you can double-click the resource item in the list.
  2. Change any information on the resource.
  3. Click on Save.

Notes

  • The email address of a resource cannot be changed.
  • The password can be left blank in this window, the password will not be changed in that case.
  •  Changing the display name of the resource will not change the name of the shared folders.

 

Deleting a Resource

  1. Select the resource you want to delete and click on Remove.
  2. A confirmation dialog will popup, click OK.
  3. Manually delete the shared folders if you have no more use for them.

 

Recovering a deleted resource

It is possible to recover a deleted resource, in that case, contact the CCS Help Centre (5888)
