Gryph Mail Accessibility
For users of screen readers, text readers, speech recognition software or other adaptive technology programs:
It is recommended that you make use of the Standard Client (HTML) version of Gryph Mail.
You can use and bookmark the following link for quick access: Login with Standard Client.
Alternatively you can manually select the Standard client in the usual login screen:
- Go to the login screen.
- Fill in your username and password.
- In the option "Which version would you like to use?" select "Standard (HTML)"
- Click on "Log in"
How to set the Standard Client (HTML) as the default version
By setting this option it should no longer be necessary to explicitly select "Standard" on log in, to set this option please follow this instructions:
- Log into Gryph Mail
- Go to "Preferences"
- In the option "Client type" select "Standard (HTML)"
- Click on "Save"
Keyboard shortcuts
If you have Javascript enabled you can make use of keyboard shortcuts to easily navigate the interface and execute common actions.
A list of all the keyboard shortcuts is available in Gryph Mail if you go to the "Preferences" tab then select "Shortcuts" from the pane.
Alternatively, here's a list of all the shortcuts available in Gryph Mail.
Gryph Mail Mobile Client
If you would prefer to access Gryph Mail using a much simpler interface, try the mobile version of Gryph Mail. Please note that you cannot send e-mail attachments using the mobile client.

To manually select the Mobile Client in the login screen:
- Go to the login screen.
- Fill in your username and password.
- In the option "Which version would you like to use?" select "Mobile"
- Click on "Log in"
Other Mail Clients
If your screen reader or other adaptive software does not work well with the web version of Gryph Mail, the University's mail server is compatible with other e-mail clients such as Thunderbird, Microsoft Outlook, etc.
