Getting Connected

There are a variety of options for connecting to the internet via the U of G network, based on your role and the location from which you are trying to connect.

• On campus students can visit the Library or use a wireless network from their laptop
• Students living in residence and family housing can use ResNet for an internet connection
• Guests to campus can purchase U of G Network Access logins for temporary use.
• Unix users can shell access to general.uoguelph.ca
• Users wishing to get an internet connection in their office should speak to their department IT Admin to get connected.
