Dialing Off-Campus Numbers from the Directory
All numbers in the Directory will be displayed as long distance, even if the number is a local call. The phone system will dial the number as local, if applicable.
Idivert Enhancements
Enhanced iDivert is a feature that works with call forwarding. This feature allows diversion of a call to either the voice mail of the party that invokes the iDivert feature or to the voice mail of the original called party.
After pressing the iDivert softkey, the screen displays two options:
- Extension and Name Display of original called party
- Extension and Name Display of the ringing phone
The user can press the toggle key to highlight one of the entries, then the Select softkey. The call immediately diverts to the selected voice mail.
Join Across Lines
Join allows a user to join and combine existing calls into a conference. Previously, Join required that calls be on the same extension.
Follow these steps to join two calls from different extensions:
- Place the 1st call on hold.
- Press More, Join. The screen will display "use line or join to complete".
- Press the button corresponding to the 2nd extension.
Both extensions are now in the conference call.
Please note: This feature is not available to Call Centre clients.
Expanded Ring Types
The full range of ring types are now available to secondary extensions on the phone. Previously, the secondary extensions had a limited choice of ring types.
