Enterprise IT Guidelines

New!  In conjunction with the Financial Services Purchasing Department, our office is developing contract guidelines and recommended best practices associated with third-party IT services.  Specific guidance is posted here!

New! The Office of the CIO has published an Enterprise Guideline on the management and disposal of IT Assets.  This Guideline was developed in response to a recommendation from our Audit Services department.  The Guideline provides advice focused on preventing inadvertant disclosure of sensitive information stored on computing equipment which is being redeployed or disposed of.  A PDF of the Guideline is available here.

A generic version of CCS's Project Management Framework is now available to the full University community!  We encourage its use for managing all sizes of IT projects on campus. Click here for an Executive Summary of the Framework.  The full Framework document is available here.  Contact the CIO's Office for specific PMF template documents.
