The role of this form is to determine which faculty are interested in VE and how the Centre for International Programs (CIP) may be of assistance.
Please note that this is not an application and CIP does not have the authority to approve courses. Faculty must still follow College and departmental guidelines regarding approval of course outlines and new courses. The role of CIP is to provide support for faculty who want to create virtual exchange components in their course(s). This support may include: • linking faculty with any of U of Guelph’s 100+ exchange partner universities for VE collaboration • providing insight into best practices and research about VE, or helping to troubleshoot problems and/or concerns • Providing support and content for intercultural competence components which are essential for successful student engagement in VE
