'Guelph International' coming soon
Looking for information on things international just got easier
Building on the Strategic International Plan released last year, Guelph is launching a new website aimed at answering questions and providing information on Guelph's diverse slate international activities and interests. Whether you're an international student looking for help with English or a faculty member wanting to start a new exchange, you now have a single url to find your answers. The site will feature RSS feeds with specific news for specific users."Everyone will be able to get the info that's most useful to them."Commented Lynne Mitchell, Director of the Centre for International Programs. The aim is to bring all things international to one place but it's no small task to organize it in a way that makes sense for all the user groups. " We've consulted the offices across campus who work in the international area, including Admissions, Research, ESL, the Library, Alumni and others. " The site will launch in late November and continue to add connections and information contributed from the University Community. "We know there are many working with international students, research projects, events and issues and we hope to continue to add to the site as we build connections across our campuses." Explained Mitchell. The site will be found at http://www.uoguelph.ca/international
