Values, Vision and Mission
The College is Uniquely Guelph in all the best ways. We attract students and faculty who have a social conscience, an environmental sensibility and a commitment to community involvement. We share the University's dedication to "Changing Lives and Improving Life" through the application of core management, economic, and consumer behavior theory and principles to the important challenges being faced by society, organizations and individual managers and leaders. We fundamentally believe that CME faculty, staff, students and alumni, along with our community partners need to be Part of the Solution to meet the most significant problems confronting the world today.
Our vision is to develop and be Leaders for a Sustainable World.
Our mission is to provide a transformation research, learning and social environment that encourages critical reflection, personal growth, community engagement, and global awareness, and promotes comprehensive understanding of both traditional and emerging themes in management and economics. We foster social and ethical responsibility and prepare graduates for leadership roles that will improve the effectiveness of their organizations and the well-being of people in Canada and around the world.
