Transformational Learning
The College of Management & Economics is committed to offering our students engaging, applied, experiential and flexible/customizable learning opportunities - ones that have the potential to transform student understanding of their disciplines, world views and abilities, alongside the opportunity to master disciplinary knowledge and develop essential skills and attitudes for life and career success.
Regardless of discipline or program of study, we endeavor to help our students become life-long learners and Leaders for a Sustainable World. Embracing the principles of continuous improvement and evidence-based practice, we participate in the scholarship of teaching and learning to inform our curricular and pedagogical decisions.
Through co-operative education experiences, hands-on projects, service learning and business competitions, CME students have the opportunity to apply their learning to real world problems. Currently, six of the eight majors in the BComm program have a co-op option, with 25.5% of students taking advantage of this opportunity.
