Student Support Network

After-Hours Assistance

The Student Support Network (SSN) peer-support drop-in is located at McNally House across the street from the Axelrod Building.  A team of trained volunteers is ready to provide supportive listening for all members of the campus community.

The drop-in operates during the Fall and Winter semesters from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Monday to Friday while classes are in session, and 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm during scheduled exam weeks.  The SSN is closed during the Spring semester.

All volunteers are extensively trained in active listening and communication skills.

The Network operates primarily as a drop-in, but you can reach us by phone at: (519) 824-4120 Ext. 55002

Student Support Network Drop-In Provides:

  • Confidential, non-judgemental listening & support
  • Information and referrals
  • An opportunity to chat one-on-one with peers who care
  • Trained student volunteers who staff the service

If we can't help you, we know who can!
