Dream Green Student Campaign
Members of the University community and Guelph residents will be challenged to do their part to conserve energy this Sunday as part of the student-run "Dream Green" campaign.
The challenge is to have everyone turn out their lights and shut down their computers overnight between Nov. 18 and 19 starting at 10 p.m.
Students will be promoting the campaign on campus on Nov. 16 in front of the canon and on Nov. 17 in front of Ultra-Mart on Stone Road. As part of the promotion, they will be selling green candles, distributing information about energy conservation and encouraging people to sign a form declaring they will be a part of the weekend challenge.
