As part of Woman Abuse Prevention Month, the Women’s Council of CUPE 3913 launches its first “Bathtub Project,” a campus toiletry drive for women’s shelters in need of assistance. They will be collecting toiletry items for women and their children and/or teenagers. Suggested donations include shampoos/conditioners, toothbrushes/toothpaste, hair brushes and combs, deodorant, tampons/sanitary napkins, cosmetics, socks and underwear. Donations may be dropped off at the Women’s Council table in the UC courtyard Thursday and Friday. For more information, send email to cupe3913@uoguelph.ca.
