Urban Agriculture Symposium
The University of Guelph hosts "Opportunities for Action: An Urban Agriculture Symposium" to bring together the movers and shakers in the urban agriculture scene. With a program featuring lectures, panel discussions and interactive sessions, the symposium aims to inspire action, address key issues and provide connections to advance the urban agriculture movement. Keynote speaker is U of G landscape architecture professor Karen Landman, who will share stories of her summer tour of urban agriculture projects across North America. A local lunch and snacks will be provided.
Time: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
