The Visiting Artists and Speakers Series presents Margaux Williamson, who was known for her brusquely beautiful, narrative-based paintings. In 2008, she stopped painting to pursue filmmaking. Her first film, Teenager Hamlet, premiered at TIFF to critical acclaim. After a recent residency at the AGO, Williamson has again returned to painting.
