Open House for School for Civil Society
You are invited to attend an open house that will showcase the vision for a new school for civil society and engagement. This is a drop-in session, so feel free to come by anytime between 9 and 11 a.m. to view the developments and discuss ideas with the catalyst team and colleagues.
The vision was developed from ideas and input from many conversations, working groups, interviews and scans from on and off campus. The process has included engagement of faculty, students and practitioners, pedagogy innovators, the arts community, professional international development practitioners, undergraduates, local youth and more.
As with the many dialogue events held over the last year to develop this vision, there will be an opportunity at the open house to provide comment to inform the next stage of development. We look forward to continued engagement with the process.
Members of the catalyst team are:
- Wayne Caldwell, director of the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development(wcaldwell@uoguelph.ca)
- Linda Hawkins, director of the Institute for Community Engaged Scholarship/Research Shop (lhawkins@uoguelph.ca)
- Belinda Leach, associate dean research at CSAHS
