Huron Campus Ministry lives under the expressway of university life. It’s a community, a place of sharing and a way of complementing and engaging what happens on campus. James VanderBerg is an ordained ministry associate with the Christian Reformed Church. Under the expressway, we’ll be reading together, participating in social justice initiatives, integrating our faith with our learning and walking beside one another. All are invited, especially those searching.

Inter-Denominational (ECUMENICAL)
From the indigineous people in South Africa comes the wonderful word "UBUNTU". In essence it means, "I cannot be without you". Ubuntu recognizes that in order to be fully human, in order to truly be what we can be and are called to be we need each other. Relationships of mutuality, respect and compassion create ubuntu. ECM tries to practice Ubuntu here on campus. To learn more about campus ubuntu, please click here.
As well ECM tries to be a place of support. Do you wonder how to help your workmate or roommate? Do you wonder how to deal with sudden changes in your life, or how to reconcile your understanding of faith with the real life circumstances you face? Perhaps you wonder if you still agree with all the teachings you have picked up from sunday school or friends but don't know where to go to ask the questions that niggle in the back of your mind.
