Research Area – Kristina Virro takes a special interest in the overlap between mental and physical health, particularly the effects of nutrition and exercise on mental health disorders.
Academic background-Kristina Virro is a Master of Science student in the Couples & Family Therapy program and is also a Registered Holistic Nutritionist. She has her Master of Arts degree in Journalism from Western University and worked as a journalist for a number of years. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto in English & Sociology.

Volunteering and Community-based Activitities
Community Activities and Volunteer Positions: Kristina has previously volunteered at Spectra Helpline, a suicide and support hotline, and at the Victoria Angel Registry of Hope, a public bank for umbilical cord blood that has the power to treat more than 80 diseases.
