Michael von Massow joins FARE

The Department of Food, Agricultural and Resource Economics is pleased to announce that Michael von Massow has joined our Department. Mike brings a depth of experience and expertise that adds capacity to FARE's ability to respond to important issues in the agri-food sector, including agri-food value chains, food waste, sustainability, and animal welfare. An alumnus of the Department (BSc(AGR) and MSc degrees in Agricultural Economics), Mike also has a Ph.D. in Management Science from McMaster University. As a frequent blogger with a strong presence on broadcast, print and social media, Mike will help contribute to the Department’s on-going efforts to mobilize research in a manner that helps to inform public policy and private strategy. The entire Department is delighted to have Mike as a colleague, and we all look forward to working with him in the coming years.
