Welcome to the Centre for Students with Disabilities
The University of Guelph is committed to creating a barrier-free environment. We feel that providing services for students with disabilities is a shared responsibility among students, faculty and administrators. This relationship is based on respect of individual rights, the dignity of the individual and the University community's shared commitment to an open and supportive learning environment.
The services and accommodations offered through the Centre for Students with Disabilities (CSD) is grounded on a foundation laid out in the document entitled Students with Disabilities: Policies and Guidelines for Undergraduate Students passed by the University Senate in 1994 *.
* Note: This Policy is currently under review by the university Senate. In particular, the appeals process has since been superseded by the policy "Human Rights at the University of Guelph " (revised version approved by the Board of Governors, October 2009).
