Guelph Food Science Team Competes at Student Challenge

CIFST 2012A team of students from Food Science at Guelph placed second at the Student Challenge quiz competition, Canadian Institute of Food Science and Technology conference, Niagara Falls, May 27 - 29.
The Guelph team was Aneta Rybak, Alicia DiFillip, Alicia Coyne, and Esther Onguta, who appear in that order in the back row (top of the stairs) in the photo.
The Guelph team finished second among ten teams from across Canada in a nail-biting final round against Team Manitoba. Each team was sponsored by a food company; the sponsor for Guelph was Al Frittenburg of Continental Ingredients.
Allison Harper, Food Science at Guelph, and Anne Manley, CIFST managed the event. Art Hill, Guelph, was quiz master.
