Research Interests and Areas of Expertise

My research has focused on the broad theme of resource management emphasizing policy analysis, assessment frameworks and political economy. Research on nuclear fuel waste disposal has focused on public attitudes, facility location models and environmental assessment frameworks. I have also contributed to the ongoing dialogue concerning the role of traditional and local knowledge in land management decision making.
