Environmental governance, forests, climate change, community-based natural resource management, conservation and sustainable development, Africa.

Research Interests and Areas of Expertise

I am interested in local institutions and the role played by communities and civil society groups in management of common pool resources, and how these link with other actors in multi-level governance systems, in the context of changing policy and a changing climate.
