Help Us Help Bees

Through the generosity of our philanthropic partners, the private funds we raise for the Honey Bee Research Centre at the University of Guelph will help researchers and graduate students identify and understand the various diseases, parasites and environmental impacts affecting honey bees today. We are uniquely qualified to investigate declining populations of honey bees and to provide solutions. Our expertise also includes honey bee breeding and genetics. This knowledge has the potential to improve the beekeeping industry and help beekeepers worldwide.

Bee diseases and parasites, pesticides and habitat destruction have created a honey bee crisis. You can help bees by supporting our efforts to keep bees healthy. With your help, bee research and education will thrive for generations to come.
