Day of Mourning 2012

Flags at the University of Guelph will be at half-mast on Monday to mark the Day of Mourning in Canada, observed on April 28 each year in honour of those who have lost their lives or been injured on the job.

A joint proclamation recognizing the day has been issued by U of G and the leaders of CUPE 3913, CUPE 1334, and the United Steelworkers of America, Local 4120.
