Recruiters from the Hospitality & Tourism Industry will be heading to Guelph for the 13th Annual HTM Job Expo. We invite potential employers and students to join us!
The HTM Job Expo connects hundreds of students to over 25 organizations annually. The Expo is intended for organizations offering full-time, part-time and/or summer employment to HTM students at the University of Guelph.
Over 600 students from the following programs are invited to attend:
Bachelor of Commerce - Major in Hotel and Food Administration
Bachelor of Commerce - Major in Tourism Management
Bachelor of Commerce - HAFA Co-op Program

Regular rate $350 (plus $45.50 HST) after Dec. 1, 2011
To receive early-bird rate, payment must be received by Dec. 1, 2011
Package includes:
- Booth space (8' width), a draped 6’ table & chairs (If you require more than 8' for your booth, an additional $150 will apply)
- Parking for one vehicle
- Morning coffee and muffins
- Lunch for 2 representatives
- Promotion prior to event (posters, emails, announcements & student council involvement)
- Corporate logo on our main HTM bulletin board
- Corporate name linked directly to your "careers" website
Electric outlets are very limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis on the day of the Expo.
CORPORATE PRESENTATIONS
A presentation room (Room 004) will be available across the hall from the Expo venue. If you wish to hold a private corporate presentation (20 min max) with a Q&A (10 min) with students, please inquire for a timeslot through Lisa Fodor. Limited time slots are available, please inquire early.

JOB EXPO POLICIES/PROCEDURES
Attendance at the Job Expo is restricted to organizations that have employment opportunities available to students and/or alumni of School of Hospitality & Tourism Management, University of Guelph.
UNIVERSITY OF GUELPH PARKING
The first vehicle to arrive from your organization will have a guaranteed parking spot in Lot P31 for the day. Additional vehicles will also proceed to P31 for a parking pass and be directed to other lots. If possible, please car pool, as parking is VERY limited at this time of the day and it could be difficult to find. Please make sure everyone attending from your organization is aware of this.
There are two sections in the P31 parking lot, make sure you enter through the parking attendant booth. The attendant will have a list of organizations.
You have two options; if you do not have much to carry, park directly in the lot OR proceed to the loading dock of the University Centre (if you have large items to unload).
To unload, follow these directions:
As you enter the University Grounds, which is the corner of Stone Road and Gordon Street, you will see the Delta Hotel on the left and the Best Western Hotel on the right. Continue straight on Gordon to the next set of lights, which is South Ring Road, turn right, then take the next left (Christie Lane), follow the Lane until you reach the steep ramp leading to the loading dock on the right. When you are ready to park, follow Christie Lane back to South Ring Road, turn left, then right into the attendant side of the P31 parking lot.
To park, follow these directions:

To qualify for the early-bird rates, payments must be received in full by December 1st, 2011.
