>2003, Nov. - Sarah Cardey, research assistant to the project, travelled to Cameroon for a week to meet with and provide support to the Cameroonian teams, as well as conduct a survey about the status of rural radio in Cameroon.
>2004, March - Ms. Martha Biongo, one of the radio broadcast team members from Cameroon, visited Guelph, Canada. Her visit included presentations on gender and rural radio at the University of Guelph, the Rotary Club of Guelph, and community radio stations.

Cardey2004, June - Mike Leggett, research assistant to the project, travelled to Uganda to present a paper at the "We are One People: Multiple Dreams of a Different Reality" conference, and to meet with the three Ugandan teams in Kampala. He also carried out a few interviews with radio broadcasters and policy-makers about the status of rural radio and the possibilities for expansion of the linkages model in the country.
2004, Nov. - Second training workshop for French-speaking African countries (forthcoming) (workshop in French). The workshop will be held in Senegal. Application forms for those interested in forming a team to attend this training (open to those from Senegal, Mali, Niger, and Madagascar) can be downloaded here
