"I chose the Master of Biotechnology program at UoG because I have always been interested in biotechnology and I knew I wanted to pursue a career in it. I didn’t know whether I would enjoy research or industry based jobs and this program gave me the opportunity to explore each option. I am currently a PhD student in the Shapiro Lab at UoG, working with pathogenic fungi."
"The Master of Biotechnology program has helped me on my path by securing a great research project with a company. My research will focus on removing access barriers in the pharmaceutical industry, connecting patients with the drugs they need."
"My favourite part of the program was the research project, in which I was immersed in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment and was given the opportunity to work on a variety of different projects that I had never been exposed to in the past."
