"I chose the Master of Biotechnology program at UoG because I have always been interested in biotechnology and I knew I wanted to pursue a career in it. I didn’t know whether I would enjoy research or industry based jobs and this program gave me the opportunity to explore each option. I am currently a PhD student in the Shapiro Lab at UoG, working with pathogenic fungi."
"The Master of Biotechnology program has helped me on my path by securing a great research project with a company. My research will focus on removing access barriers in the pharmaceutical industry, connecting patients with the drugs they need."
"The UofG campus is both beautiful and stimulating. The ideal environment in which to learn and grow. My research project will improve life by working to scale-up production of microbiome therapeutics."
