Dewey appointed Chair of Population Medicine

The Ontario Veterinary College has appointed Dr. Cate Dewey as Chair of the Department of Population Medicine.
She will assume her duties on Sept. 1 for an initial five-year term. Dr. Scott McEwen will continue as acting chair until that time.
“I know everyone in the OVC community will provide Cate with their full support as she
assumes this important role,” said Dr. Elizabeth Stone, OVC dean.
Stone expressed her thanks to those who participated in the search process, especially members of the selection committee: Mary Elliott, Robert Friendship, Bruce Hunter, David Kelton, Steven Leeson, Paula Menzies and Leandra Nogueira.
