Genus APLOMYA Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830
APLOMYA Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830: 184 (also subsequently spelled Aplomyia, unjustified emendation). Type species: Aplomya zonata Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 (= Tachina confinis Fallén, 1820), by subsequent designation of Robineau-Desvoidy, 1863a: 459, 460 (as confinis, with zonata in synonymy) [Palearctic].
theclarum (Scudder, 1887).– British Columbia to Québec and Maine, south to California, Mississippi, and Virginia (S&A, 1965), Yukon, Nova Scotia, North Carolina, South Carolina (CNC).
– Tachina theclarum Scudder in Osten Sacken, 1887: 166. Type data: holotype female (MCZ). Type locality: unknown. Type host: Satyrium calanus falacer (Godart) [published as Thecla inorata Grote & Robinson], Lycaenidae.
– Exorista chrysophani Townsend, 1891d: 198. Type data: holotype female (SEMK). Type locality: USA, Iowa. Type host: Gaeides xanthoides dione (Scudder) [published as Chrysophanus dione], Lycaenidae.
