ATACTOPSIS Townsend, 1917b: 229. Type species: Atactopsis facialis Townsend, 1917, by original designation [Neotropical]. PARATACTA Reinhard, 1923: 266. Type species: Paratacta facialis Reinhard, 1923 (= Atactopsis reinhardi Sabrosky & Arnaud, 1965), by original designation.

– Paratacta facialis Reinhard, 1923: 266 (junior secondary homonym of Atactopsis facialis Townsend, 1917). Type data: holotype female (USNM). Type locality: USA, Texas, Balmorhea.
– Atactopsis reinhardi Sabrosky & Arnaud, 1965: 1081 (nomen novum for facialis Reinhard, 1923).
