DISTICHONA van der Wulp, 1890: 44. Type species: Distichona varia van der Wulp, 1890, by monotypy [Neotropical].
PSEUDOGERMARIA Brauer & Bergenstamm, 1891: 48 (also 1892: 352). Type species: Pseudogermaria georgiae Brauer & Bergenstamm, 1891, by monotypy.
OLENOCHAETA Townsend, 1892a: 114. Type species: Olenochaeta kansensis Townsend, 1892, by original designation.
PARAGERMARIA Townsend, 1909: 247. Type species: Paragermaria autumnalis Townsend, 1909, by original designation.
ARAVAIPA Townsend, 1919c: 589. Type species: Aravaipa atrophopoda Townsend, 1919 (= Olenochaeta kansensis Townsend, 1892), by original designation.

autumnalis (Townsend, 1909).– Nebraska to Ontario and Massachusetts, south to Texas and Florida (CNC).
– Paragermaria autumnalis Townsend, 1909: 247. Type data: holotype female (USNM). Type locality: USA, Massachusetts, Melrose Highlands.

georgiae (Brauer & Bergenstamm, 1891).– Georgia, ?Texas (CNC).
– Pseudogermaria georgiae Brauer & Bergenstamm, 1891: 48 (also 1892: 352). Type data: holotype female (NHMW). Type locality: USA, Georgia, Tifton.
– Gaediopsis facialis Coquillett, 1902b: 117. Type data: holotype male (USNM). Type locality: USA, Georgia.

kansensis (Townsend, 1892).– Kansas to Ohio and Maryland, south to California and Florida (S&A, 1965), Iowa, Mexico (CNC).
– Olenochaeta kansensis Townsend, 1892a: 115. Type data: holotype male [not female as published, and cited by Byers et al., 1962: 176] (SEMK). Type locality: USA, Kansas, Riley County, Manhattan.
– Aravaipa atrophopoda Townsend, 1919c: 589. Type data: holotype female (USNM). Type locality: USA, Arizona, Rio Aravaipa, 2500 feet.
