LOEWIA Egger, 1856: 386. Type species: Loewia setibarba Egger, 1856, by monotypy [Palearctic].

foeda (Meigen, 1824).– Europe, New York (Wood & Wheeler, 1972), Ontario, Québec (CNC).
– Tachina foeda Meigen, 1824: 282 (as foeda Wiedemann, in error). Type data: holotype female (MNHN). Type locality: unknown (presumably in Europe).
