Genus POLICHETA Rondani, 1856

POLICHETA Rondani, 1856: 67 (also subsequently spelled Polycheta, Polychaeta, unjustified emendations). Type species: Tachina unicolor Fallén, 1820, by original designation [Palearctic].
PERICHETA Rondani, 1859: 152 (unnecessary nomen novum for Policheta Rondani, 1856; also subsequently spelled Perichaeta, unjustified emendation).

crassispinosa Wood, 1985.– Oregon (Wood, 1985), British Columbia (CNC).
– Policheta crassispinosa Wood, 1985: 77 (spelled crassisetosa by Wood, 1985: 3, in error). Type data: holotype female (CNC). Type locality: USA, Oregon, Benton County, Alsea Falls Recreation Area, 16 kilometres southwest of Alpine.
