Genus RHACHOEPALPUS Townsend, 1908
RHACHOEPALPUS Townsend, 1908: 114. Type species: Saundersia testacea van der Wulp, 1888, by subsequent designation of Coquillett, 1910b: 599 [Neotropical].
olivaceus Townsend, 1908.– Arizona (S&A, 1965, as Rhachoepalpus sp.; Wood, 1987b), Mexico (Guimarães, 1971), Ecuador (CNC). Note: This nominal species is possibly a synonym of the type species, Rhachoepalpus testaceus (van der Wulp), described from Costa Rica.
– Rhachoepalpus olivaceus Townsend, 1908: 114. Type data: holotype male (USNM). Type locality: Mexico, Chihuahua, Sierra Madre, head of Rio Piedras Verdes, 7000 feet.
